Monday's Announcements (Earlier This Week)
Thank you again for your preparation and teamwork in making Friday’s Meet the Teacher YouTube livestream a success. A few disruptions to class this week with Wai Kru and ROTC taking place (see below for more information). Also, the ESLO Point System has been updated with latest student and class information.
Also, please see the attached Week 5 in Review for key updates and highlights.
Grade 10–12 Boys ROTC on Wednesday
Grade 10–12 boys will attend ROTC registration, examinations, and document verification on Wednesday, September 23, 2026. Grade 10–12 girls will also not attend school that day.

Thank you to all teachers and HODs for making Friday’s Virtual Meet the Teacher Event a success. Your preparation, teamwork, and thoughtful responses to parents were greatly appreciated. Special thanks to our Thai staff, especially Boss and Earth for production and technical support, and Pang, Tonliv, and Freeze for their help. Wai Kru Practice
On Monday, September 21st during Period 5A, several students will be required to attend practice for the upcoming Wai Kru ceremony. Please excuse them from your class. The students have been instructed to follow up with their teachers about any missed work or assignments for the class.

Tuesday's New Announcements
🟠 Wai Khru Ceremony Thursday Schedule and Teacher Procedures
Teachers assigned to High School during Period 2 or Middle School during Period 3 on Thursday must take attendance in their classrooms first and then accompany their students to the gymnasium. Please review the posted schedule and teacher list before Thursday.
🧪 MAP and TOEFL Testing Update
Several MAP testing classrooms have changed to avoid moving desks and chairs. Teachers involved in testing should review the revised materials and confirm their assigned rooms and student rosters before September 29–30.
Please direct MAP questions to Marc and TOEFL questions to Julie.
📚 Bring a Friend to the Library
Encourage students to bring a friend, borrow or read books together, and participate in the library’s reading-reward activities.
🎥 Parent–Teacher Conference Resources Shared with Families
Families have now received the conference recording, instructions for Thai captions, and English and Thai versions of the conference summary and parent guide.

- Monday, September 21 — G7U Girls Basketball at Berkeley International School, 3:20 p.m.
- Tuesday, September 22 — Varsity Boys Volleyball at Concordian International School, 3:30 p.m. Players are excused at 2:20 p.m. for a 2:30 p.m. departure.
- Wednesday, September 23 — Library Noise: “Bingo—Authors & Masterpieces”, after class.
- Wednesday, September 23 - Grade 10, 11, 12 ROTC (No School for boys or girls)
- Thursday, September 24 — Formal Day and Wai Kru Ceremony in the gymnasium: High School during Period 2 and Middle School during Period 3.
- Thursday, September 24 — G7U Girls Basketball at Concordian International School, 3:45 p.m.
- Tuesday–Wednesday, September 29–30 — MAP and TOEFL testing, 7:45–11:10 a.m.
- Monday–Friday, October 5–9 — Photoshoot Week, 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. in the KMIDS Gymnasium.
