- The G7U Girls Basketball Team travels to Berkeley International School. Participating students will miss part of Period 7 and all of Period 8; the game begins at 3:20 p.m.
- ESLO has been updated with the latest student and class information.
Action required
- Review the updated Wai Kru practice roster. Students are responsible for following up about missed work.
- Check the September 7–16 attendance report and correct entries showing 0 under Attendance.
- Begin preparing students for MAP and TOEFL testing on September 29–30. Students should bring fully charged devices.

G7U Girls Basketball at Berkeley International School
AI in Education Update
Florida has adopted statewide rules for responsible AI use in public education. Its framework emphasizes parental involvement, student-data privacy, academic integrity, teacher oversight, and age-appropriate AI literacy.
This implementation-focused approach contrasts with more restrictive policies elsewhere—including New York City’s moratorium on student-facing generative AI in Grades 2K–8.
The conversation is shifting from “Should students use AI?” to “How can students use AI safely, ethically, and in ways that strengthen learning?”
Teacher action: Visit the CPD Opportunities Channel and share your perspective, questions, classroom experiences, or recommended safeguards.
Parent–Teacher Conference Recap
Thank you to every presenter, department, moderator, translator, and support-team member who helped make Friday’s Parent–Teacher Conference livestream a success.
The conference gave families an overview of KMIDS student support, university preparation, academic pathways, departmental teaching approaches, assessment practices, and expectations for families.
KMIDS is committed to developing independent thinking, practical skills, confidence, responsibility, and strong academic achievement.

- Tuesday, September 22 — Varsity Boys Volleyball at Concordian International School, 3:30 p.m. Players are excused at 2:20 p.m. for a 2:30 p.m. departure.
- Wednesday, September 23 — Library Noise: “Bingo—Authors & Masterpieces”, after class.
- Thursday, September 24 — Formal Day and Wai Kru Ceremony in the gymnasium: High School during Period 2 and Middle School during Period 3.
- Thursday, September 24 — G7U Girls Basketball at Concordian International School, 3:45 p.m.
